Review : Good Boots, but Run Small
Although only a few reviewers warned that these boots run small, you should listen to them. Unfortunately, I did not. I bought my usual size (13), but the boots were small length-wise; my toes did not fit in the boot comfortably (width was fine). I returned them to Amazon, which was easy. I bought the next size up, but they felt a bit big, not in length but in height. There was quite a bit of room between the top of my foot and the boot, and consequently, my feet moved around a lot when I walked. One way I remedied this was by putting shoe inserts in the boots (I took inserts that were pretty thick from an old pair of size 13 boots). Also, since I wear these boots primarily in the winter, I wear thick winter socks when I wear them. With the inserts and thick socks, the boots fit pretty surprisingly well.
